ABA software for specialized schools

Purpose-built for schools where ABA is at the core of every day. Every program, data sheet and classroom tool in one place, on the web and on the iPad.

Collecting data on the iPad: scoring the bedroom steps of Ron S’s Cleaning Rooms program plus or minus, from picking up clothes to vacuuming, for a total of 83%, with the date, type and notes below

Built by people who ran ABA classrooms

Private autism and special education schools run ABA all day: discrete trials at the table, task analyses in the kitchen and the bathroom, token boards on every desk, and behavior plans that need data taken by whoever is closest. BehaviorFlow was built for exactly that day, by a teacher who spent nearly a decade in ABA classrooms, and it is reviewed with doctoral-level clinical expertise.

Schools including PCDI, Somerset Hills Learning Institute and the Institute for Educational Achievement use it. In a study at PCDI, classrooms collected and graphed three times as much data after a single 45-minute staff training.

How BehaviorFlow fits a program like yours

  • Everything for instruction on one screen

Programs, data collection, schedules, motivational systems and timers live together, so staff find what they need without leaving the student.

  • Data any staff member can take

New staff and paraprofessionals learn the basics quickly, while BCBAs keep the clinical rigor they need behind the scenes.

  • Graphs that draw themselves

As data is collected it becomes clear, customizable graphs, so supervision happens on today’s data.

  • Programs you can reuse

Save programs to your school’s Program Library and assign them to students without rebuilding them.

  • Families in the loop

Generate clear, up-to-date progress reports for any student, over whatever period you need.

  • Reporting for the whole school

Review progress for one student or the entire school without chasing data from classrooms, binders, or spreadsheets.

A school day without the binder

A BCBA updates a student’s program from the office before the day starts, and it is ready on the classroom iPad when the teacher arrives. Through the morning, staff collect data as they teach, without stopping to find a clipboard or a data sheet. By lunch, every trial and every count is already on its graph.

At the end of the day there is nothing to transcribe and no binder to take home. Supervisors review today’s data today, and progress reports for families come from the data the team already took.

Questions? We’ve got answers.

  1. We have paraprofessionals with no ABA background. Can they use it?

Yes. BehaviorFlow was designed to make sophisticated data collection simple for the people actually collecting it. New staff can learn the basics quickly, while BCBAs still have the flexibility and clinical rigor they need behind the scenes.

  2. Can we bring in the programs we already run?

Yes. We’ve worked directly with organizations to bring their existing curricula and program libraries into BehaviorFlow. For everything else, programs are easy to recreate and save as reusable templates, so your team can pull, customize, and assign them without starting from scratch each time.

  3. How long does it take to roll out across a school?

Most organizations roll out BehaviorFlow over one to three months, but we can move much faster when needed. If your team is ready to go, we can have you up and running in as little as a week.
